NDCrypt plugin

NDCrypt is a plugin for NetDrive to provide transparent data encryption/decryption for local or remote volumes. Like all NetDrive plugins, NDCrypt is part of the NetDrive File System IFS (Installable File System). It works quietly in the background but uses strong encryption, providing privacy for your data.

The NDCrypt plugin allows you to create encrypted disks and folders within a NetDrive File System while at the same time allowing you to access the files normally (the encryption/decryption takes place in the background, transparent to the user). In addition, NDCrypt hides the file date/time and size when unencrypted disk access is attempted. Note that NDCrypt cannot protect data going over a network, such as email messages. For non-file transmissions, another product should be utilized, such as PGP for email.

NDCrypt offers several different cryptography methods/options (algorithms):

Blowfish, key length 1-56 bytes
CAST-256, 1-32 bytes
GOST (Magma; encryption standard in Russia), 32 bytes
LOKI97, 1-32 bytes
MARS, 4-56 bytes
RC6, 1-255 bytes
Rijndael, 1-32 bytes
SAFER-plus (SAFER+), 1-32 bytes
Serpent, 4, 8, 12 _ 32 bytes
Triple DES (3DES), 24 bytes
Twofish, 16, 24 or 32 bytes

System requirements * ArcaOS 5, eComStation, IBM OS/2 Warp * NetDrive 2.x or higher Installation * Download the demo version from os2.guru. * Install the program using the demo key; this version will work for 30 days after installation. Notes * The Family Pack allows you to install and use one copy of the software on up to a maximum of five (5) ArcaOS, OS/2, and eComStation computers (in any combination) at a time as long as those computers are located in the same household and used by persons who occupy that household. By "household" we mean a person or persons who share the same housing unit such as a home, apartment, mobile home, or condominium, including students who are primary residents of that household but reside at a separate on-campus location. This license does not extend to business or commercial users. * You will receive the activation key by email from eCo Software usually within 72 hours after your payment is received, which will remove the 30-day trial limitation. * Sponsor units do not entitle you to license keys, it is only to support the developer.
